To Lavender’s Gifts

The Bees? Admit two.

The breeze will lift you

To Lavender’s gifts.

The Bees? Admit Two.

Those pollen spendthrifts.

Peace be upon you;

Go steady, mend rifts.

Gentle breeze blows through

Memories. It sifts

Burrs and thorns into

Garden corners. Shift

Direction. North. True.

Lavender’s breeze drifts;

It swaddles to soothe.
