The Moon and Earth

She bit her lip,

imbibed of it,

that earthly bliss,

a nectar kiss.

The magnet’s pull,

she drank it full,

to Moon above,

she gave her love.

The Moon-lover,

the Earth-mother,

mana, nectar,

the stars blessed her.

Her moonlit eyes?

Each burned inside.

The longing pain

of Luna’s pride.
